Learning Objectives:

To provide a general overview of NFTs and investments in NFTs;

* To understand the nuts and bolts of NFTs and NFT Fraud and gain an understanding of the platforms that these investments are invested on;

* To apply this knowledge to detect suspicious activity and assist professionals on their cases that may involve NFTs and damages that may arise of the theft of intellectual property surrounding NFTs and improper use of NFTs;

* To identify potential misuses of NFT investments for illegal activity such as asset concealment and money laundering.

Speaker: Michael P. Dunn


Michael P. Dunn is the founder and managing partner of Dunn Law, P.A., established in 2014. Michael concentrates his practice in insolvency with an emphasis on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He regularly represents trustees and fiduciaries, banks, creditors, debtors, and distressed asset purchasers. Michael also practices in both corporate and real estate transactions. He has represented start-ups, small businesses, and new ventures in their formation, early-stage funding, negotiation between partners and shareholders. Further, Michael has extensive experience with matters involving business divorce, entity dissolution, and asset disposition. Michael is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator.

He is a frequent speaker and a published author on bankruptcy, blockchain, cryptocurrency, NFTs and NFT fraud, real estate and related business issues.
